How Glide Boards Are Built

Glide inflatable paddleboards are engineered for stiffness, strength, and reliability that last season after season. Every detail — from the core to the rails — is designed for real paddlers who want performance without compromise.

AeroMatrix Woven Drop-Stitch Core

Every Glide inflatable is built with our AeroMatrix woven drop-stitch core, the foundation of its strength and rigidity. Thousands of threads connect the deck and hull in a woven pattern that keeps the board’s shape even under heavy load.

Our Elite series goes a step further with a cross-woven core, which increases stiffness and reduces flex — giving those boards a noticeably more rigid feel on the water.

Why it matters:

  • Tighter weave = higher stiffness at lower pressure.

  • Less flex = better glide and tracking.

  • More stability under your feet.

Trifusion Rails

The rails are the backbone of any inflatable board. Glide uses Trifusion rails — a triple-layer laminate that reinforces seam strength and adds durability against abrasion, pressure, and UV exposure.

The result:
A cleaner seal, a stronger structure, and a board built to take real-world use.

Full-Length EVA Deck Pad

Every Glide board includes a full-length, non-slip EVA deck pad for comfort and traction across the entire surface. It’s soft under bare feet, easy to clean, and durable enough for yoga, passengers, or pets.

Foldable USA Fin Box

Our foldable USA fin box allows the board to roll up smaller for transport while still accepting standard U.S. fins. It’s simple, reliable, and built for everyday paddlers who want both convenience and performance.

Precision Heat-Welded Seams

Each board is constructed with a multi-stage heat-welding process, permanently fusing layers together at the molecular level. The result is consistent, airtight seams that hold up over time.
Every Glide board is pressure-tested for 72 hours before it leaves the factory — because small details matter.

Tested by Paddlers

Our boards are designed and tested in Salt Lake City, surrounded by rivers, lakes, and alpine reservoirs. We paddle what we build — and refine each model through real-world testing before it ever reaches a customer.

When you step onto a Glide, you’ll feel it immediately: balanced, rigid, and ready for years of adventure.
