How do I flip my iSUP or SUP upright.

Modified on Wed, 19 Jun at 10:53 AM

If you have fallen off your stand-up paddleboard (SUP or iSUP) and need to flip it back over, follow these steps:

  1. Swim to Your Board: Get to the side of your board quickly.

  2. Grab the Handle or Edge: Hold onto the center handle or the edge of the board with both hands.

  3. Kick and Lift: Simultaneously kick your feet while lifting and pulling the edge or handle towards you.

  4. Flip Over: Use your momentum to flip the board over. It should rotate relatively easily due to the buoyancy of the SUP or iSUP.

  5. Climb Back On: Once the board is right-side up, pull yourself up by grabbing the center handle or the side of the board and kicking your legs.

Practicing this maneuver in calm waters can help build confidence and ensure you can flip the board efficiently when needed.
